In a New England town four mentally handicapped young men are living in a communal residence. The story of their daily life is told through the perspective of Jack, the increasingly “burned out” social worker who teaches and looks after them. Filed with humor, the play is also marked by compassion and understanding. It touchingly communicates that these four men are like the rest of us who want to love and be loved and find some meaning and purpose in the
too brief time we are allotted on earth.

Andersen, known as the “storyteller of Denmark” has achieved world wide fame with his fairy tales over the centuries. He has delighted children for years with tales such as “The Ugly Duckling”, “Thumbelina” and “The Little Mermaid”. We proudly present two of his other famous stories – “The Snow Queen” and “The Red Shoes”. In these gentle adaptations, the stories will end with a happily ever after

Chautauqua School of Performing Arts
Registration is now being accepted for the CSPA Summer Showcase 25.
The annual Chautauqua School of Performing Arts is now
accepting registrations.
The program starts on June 23 (M-F Mornings) culminating
with 3 public performances in July 25, 26 and 27.
Full theatrical training for youth from 6-15 years old –
Acting, singing, dancing, stagecraft.
This year’s show is “The Storybook Icon Caper”, a fun romp
through well known fairy tales….with a twist.
