Crimes of the Heart
The scene is Hazelhurst, Mississippi, where the three Magrath sisters have gathered to await news of the family patriarch, their grandfather, who is living out his last hours. Their troubles, grave and yet, somehow hilarious, are highlighted by their priggish cousin, and the awkward young lawyer who tries to keep Babe out of jail while helpless not to fall in love with her. The telling is so true and touching and consistently hilarious that it will linger in the mind long after the curtain has descended.

Warp and Woof:Dogs in Space
The race is on to discover who will plant their flag on a new planet.  The dogs have landed their space ship, only to find that the cats also want to colonize.  It is a contest of wits and craftiness to bring the story to its conclusion!

What is Chautauqua doing about Covid?
We are very concerned about the spread of this virus, so we take precautions to keep our patrons, actors, crew and staff safe.
Before each performance, the auditorium and lobby areas are sprayed with a virus killing solution.
Actors are required to be vaccinated before they may accept a part in a production.
Patrons are required to be masked from the time they enter the theater, except when eating and drinking.
If a show (especially Children's shows) includes participation, any properties that they may touch will be sanitized prior to performance.
Patrons may be required to show proof of vaccination or negative recent Covid test.  Temperature check may be administered.

Our aim is to keep our theater as safe and virus free as possible.  We thank you for your cooperation.
