Sundays 2 pm
If your parents knew everything about you before you were born, would you be here? That is the question posed in this entertaining drama. All is well when Suzanne Gold and her close New York family discovered that she is pregnant, until a prenatal test reveals that the baby will most likely be homosexual. The news forces the entire Gold family to confront issues of bigotry, evolution and the limits of love.

VOLUNTEER!
One of the most important factors in the success of Chautauqua Playhouse is our volunteers. We appreciate everything that is done by these unseen heroes, but there is always room to expand our volunteer base. Do you have a skill that your would like to share with us? Have you always wanted to be in "Show Biz" but not necessarily on the stage?
Please take a moment to click the button and fill out a brief survey for us. We would be happy and grateful for any help you would like to provide!

PLEASE DONATE
Theatres all over the nation, including Chautauqua Playhouse have suffered a great loss of income because of closure during the pandemic. Now that we are reopened, the attendance has fallen by about 40% since pre-pandemic and you know what has happened to prices for everything. We thank all who have donated to help keep our theatre afloat, but we are still in need of more income to keep our doors open. Won't you please consider donating to Chautauqua Playhouse? Any amount is appreciated and your donation is deductible to the extent of IRS regulations. We have teamed with Paypal in order to make it easier for you to donate online.
